A particularly attractive feature of the Merry Acres Campus - which has already undergone renovations - is the 5,900 square foot Event & Conference Center. For decades, it's been a favored spot for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, banquets, corporate seminars and retreats, class and family reunions, showers, birthday parties, and fundraisers. That list will grow to include private parties, cocktail parties, and wine tastings.

The appeal of the Event & Conference Center is its ability to offer a number of various configurations to provide just the right amount of space for each group. But whether a large celebrity soiree or a smaller, more personal gathering, the Event & Conference Center can coordinate with your particular theme and enables a one-stop approach for guests' lodging, meeting, and catering needs.

In fact, the Stewbo's catering operation has already been situated in the adjacent Merry Acres Restaurant site, which itself will likely be relaunched in 2012 for daily breakfast and lunchtime dining both for guests and the community at large. Once the premier restaurant of Albany, the enormous kitchen now serves as the prep kitchen/storage area for Stewbo's three existing restaurants and will enhance the catering operations.

The Albany community is delighted about the new possibilities available from the Event & Conference Center and has already increased their reservations. Local companies have followed suit with their upcoming arrangements, with the manufacturing and medical sectors giving their particular endorsement.
